Lazy Knights is a 3D Physics-based Platforming game where two or more players play as Knights that don't care for form, strategy or logic. They will do anything to get to the end of the King's obstacle course. It is done as a free for all for competitive fun. Avoid spikes on the floor and don't get lost in the maze.
In this project, I experimented with a new engine, Godot, where I also made my first multiplayer game. I was in charge of UI Design, Level Design, and Assistance with Networking. I worked with Logan Walcutt and Seth Kolb.
What I did here was mainly programming the movement and the multiplayer network connection. The hardest thing to make a reality was separating the players. Sometimes we would have the players move despite only one controller being used. But eventually we were able to separate them. Another part of the game I handled was simple level design.
